Bay Country Painters is proud to participate in the Paint It Forward charity event. This is an annual event held by reputable painting companies across the nation. It was started 10 years ago by A. Allbright Painting in Los Angeles, California. Mike McGurk, the owner of Bay Country Painters, and his staff of highly skilled painting craftsman were delighted to join the movement and bring it to Maryland in 2015.
Bay Country Painters accepts nominations for families or organizations in the local area that need a paint job but lack the funds to get it done. Once nominations are closed, the staff gets together to vote on who they feel is most deserving.
Here are previous winners and the work we did for them.
Robin Talbot is a single mother of two growing boys. When her boys were only 2 and 6 years older, her husband passed away after a courageous fight with cancer. Following his death, Robin changed careers so she would have more time to spend with her sons. While her decision gave her more time with her kids, it left her with less money to spend on things like home projects.
In September 2016, her oldest son, a senior in high school, was unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukemia. Taking care of him and spending as much time as she can with both of her boys has left large and tedious tasks like painting in the backseat.
Bay Country Painters is proud to award Robin and her sons with a $4,500 interior paint job.
The Boys and Girls Club provides a safe haven for kids and teenagers primarily in the Bywater Community to relax and learn skills that will help them grow into responsible adults and citizens.
Bay Country Painters was proud to take part in helping them with their mission. We did various repairs and added a fresh coat of paint to the inside of their clubhouse.
